Artist statement

As an artist, I show reality through the lens of imagination in my work. In my art, I always express everyday activities and ordinary objects in a way that comes off unexpected to others. I tend to look for sophistication in simple images leaving space for intrigue. Usually the story behind is not what it appears to be. To create my works I often use trivial materials and elements of surrealism and minimalism. Color, photography,

and digital manipulation serve as helping tools for telling

surprising visual stories.
