Artist statement

While the war in my country continues and I am forced to stay away from my home,

family, and friends, I am determined to loudly proclaim the sincerity, freedom-loving

spirit, culture, and progress of Ukraine in any way I can.

Photography is my profession, my hobby, and my passion. My experience includes

winning international competitions, participating in exhibitions — including solo

shows — collaborating with galleries, and teaching. I believe that photography can, if

not change the world, at least influence viewers’ perspectives, thoughts, awareness,

and even their decisions.

That is why I share my soul with the world through photographs and collages — as a

reflection of the spirit of my entire Ukraine. Today, I have set myself the task of

conveying our longing and the Ukrainian people’s desire to live freely, to build a

cultured and educated nation that respects itself, values others, and strives for

development and peaceful growth.

My photographic compositions are characterized by a pursuit of minimalism, enriched

with concise details, symbolic focal points, and inventive color combinations. At

times, my work ventures into the realm of surrealism. I draw inspiration from artists

such as Kenne Gregoire, Richard Avedon, Kristin Vestgard, Sarah Moon, Alex Prager,

Alex Russell, and Max Ernst.
