Felt Time
“Ruins that are not ruins, but hymns of luminous memory.” —Hélène Cixous, Coming to Writing and Other Essays
By capturing fleeting moments of refracted light that dissolve in passing, I attempt to portray the delicate boundary between what is visible and what slips beyond perception. By focusing on those flaring instants at dusk—across both urban and rural spaces—each image becomes a testament to the transitory nature of time, preserving glimpses that might otherwise vanish. This body of work also serves as a visual extension of my Are.na editorial, Felt Time, forming a living archive of luminous memories.
Through this lens, I strive to create an intimate visual language that resonates as both personal narrative and universal experience. Each snapshot is a meditation on transformation, revealing how our inner worlds are reshaped by time, emotion, and the radiant interplay of light and shadow.
