Artist statement
"I envy every painter and illustrator, until I learn to draw, I will photograph."
My work explores the dualities that shape our lives: light and dark, hope and despair, silence and sound. Through autobiographical imagery, I search for the light that emerges from darkness, both metaphorically and visually. Photography is my way of imagining a new world after loss—a process of resilience, healing, and transformation. As Björk says, “You have to imagine something that doesn’t exist and dig a cave into the future and demand space.” My images are that act of digging, a territorial hope affair, shaping a reality that does not yet exist.
