This course offers comprehensive, structured support, specially designed to guide you through every stage of creating, writing and presenting your photographic project. Immerse yourself in a programme of carefully crafted modules, each designed to explore a fundamental aspect of the photographic process.

Course outline

Module 1

Conceptualising and developing the idea

  • research methods to enrich the subject.

  • identifying your visual identity, research and inspiration.

  • finding relevant themes and carrying out research to enrich the initial idea.

  • Organising images to maximise narrative impact.

  • Techniques for creating a fluid visual progression.

  • conceptual diagram, photo project implementation plan.

Module 2

Images, from idea to exhibition

  • techniques for transforming an idea into concrete images.

  • planning and preparing photo shoots.

  • location, permissions, legal requirements.

  • selecting and sequencing images.

  • adjusting the project according to feedback and analysis.

Module 3

Storytelling

 

  • basic principles of storytelling in photography.

  • how to tell a coherent story through a series of images.

  • establishing a close link between image and text.

Module 4

Ensuring the visual and editorial treatment of the story

 

 

  • setting up the report: the message, the visual composition and the photographic angle.
